Ranked at the top of the list of ‘‘of Turkey’s Biggest 500 Industrial Enterprises’’ every year, Bilkont carries out its operations in its facilities in Çorlu, Tekirdağ.
In Bilkont’s fabric dyeing facilities, dyeing operations for cotton, acrylic, viscose, lycra, polyester fabrics and fabrics made of their combinations are carried out. In the yarn dyeing facilities, dyeing operations for cotton; cotton- polyester; cotton-viscose; cotton-acrylic yarn combinations are are conducted.

Bilkont’s manufacturing facilities in Çorlu has a capacity of 20 tones/day open-end yarn; 11 tones/day ring – melange yarn; 40 tones/day knitted fabric manufacturing; and 30 tones/day fabric dyeing and finishing; and 4.5 tones/day in yarn dyeing.

Bilkont manufactures for world-famous brands, operates under ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System Standard and ensures continuum of the quality of its products. Bilkont was certified by internationally renown textile research and services center: Hohenstein Institute, based in Bönningheim, Germany with Oeko-tex 100 certificate in 1999. Chemicals and materials which serve as raw materials in manufacturing and processing processes respect the environment and human health; therefore, Bilkont was awarded the ‘‘Oeko-tex 100’’ certificate, awarded to enterprises which can manufacture products that are perfectly safe for health. Within the framework of Oeko-Tex 100, material and weaving quality, conformity with the body, comfort level and legal compliance are among areas in which Hohenstein Institute carries out activities. Cotton, viscose, cotton/viscose, viscose/polyester, cotton/polyester, cotton/acrylic yarn varieties can be manufactured with Oeko-tex 100 10.HTR.74188 certificate and cotton, viscose, cotton/viscose, viscose/ polyester, cotton/polyester, cotton/acrylic, cotton/elastane can be manufactured with Oeko-tex 100 10.HTR.74188 certificate in the form of grege and dyed yarn.

In 2007, requirements were fulfilled to carry out open-end and ring-melange yarn, knitted fabric manufacturing as well as knitted fabric and yarn dyeing processes with 100% organic cotton. Compliance with the requirements was certified by Control Union Certifications with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certificate. Bilkont Inc. can manufacture under ‘‘organic’’ and ‘‘made with organic’’ labels with C 807477 GOTS Certificate.
Bilkont is also entitled to manufacture under Organic Exchange 100 and Organic Exchange Blended standards with C 807477 OE Certificate.
